Indian Institute of Management ( IIM) Ahmedabad's second cluster of the Summer Placement process for the PGP class of 2027 saw a large pool of recruiters offering more than 60 roles. Mahindra & Mahindra led the recruiters in the Conglomerates cohort with the most hires followed by TATA Administrative Services and Aditya Birla Group.
According to the institute, other prominent recruiters in the cohort were Abhinandan Ventures, CK Birla Group, JSW and Vedanta Limited. Procter & Gamble led hires in the Consumer Goods cohort followed by ITC Limited. "Other prominent recruiters in the cohort were AB InBev, Asian Paints, Coca Cola Company, Dabur, Diageo India, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Nestle, Purplle, United Breweries Limited, Wipro Consumer Care and Zydus Wellness among others," it said in a press release. FinIQ Consulting was the top recruiter in the Financial Platform & Services cohort, it stated.
"JioStar led the list of recruiters with the most hires in the Advertising and Media cohort. Amazon followed by Flipkart were top recruiters in the Retail B2B & Retail E-commerce cohort among others," it stated.
The firms that participated in Cluster 2 comprised seven cohorts – “Advertising and Media”, “Conglomerates”, “Consumer Goods”, “Consumer Services”, “Financial Platform and Services”, “Pharmaceuticals & Health Care” and “Retail B2B & Retail E-commerce”. The cluster 2 was held on 31st October 2025 at the IIM. The process was conducted in hybrid mode with companies joining in through online as well as offline mode. The cluster also saw international opportunities for students with Fast Retailing Co. Ltd.
A rise in participation was noted with following firms visiting for Summer Placement for the first time; Dainik Bhaskar (Advertising & Media), Haleon (Consumer Goods), Jiostar (Advertising & Media), Jupiter Money (Financial Platform & Services), Medtronic India Pvt Ltd (Pharmaceuticals & Health Care) and Philip Morris International (Consumer Goods). The third cluster will be conducted on 3rd November 2025.
