Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday released a video message urging people to once again support the NDA, saying the state's transformation over the past two decades has turned "being a Bihari" into a matter of pride.

In the video, shared by the JDU and Kumar's official social media handles, he said Bihar's progress under his leadership had benefited all communities - "Hindus, Muslims, upper castes, backward castes, extremely backward castes, Dalits, and Mahadalits."

"When we took office in 2005, being called a Bihari was considered an insult. Since then, we've worked with honesty and dedication. Today, it's an honour," Kumar said. Highlighting improved law and order, he said restoring peace and enforcing the rule of law were among his government's earliest and most significant achievements.
